Anyone still reading Usenet? Yeah, I do occasionally - don't post much, but hey. I still remember my first post to alt.devilbunnies. Ah, the good ol' days. Anyways, new groups recently added include "alt . comp . linux - is - for - cheapskates", "alt. games . tiberan - sun . scott - daniels . mutton - faced - freak", "alt . fan . smurfs" (of which I've subscribed to), "alt . os . windows - xp - for - big - girls - blouses" and oh so much more. Sigh. Love Usenet with me, won't you?

You know what feels good? Going through my "Daily Reading" bookmark folder, and converting a good dozen entries into my RSS reader, AMPHETADESK. I've easily shaved a good ten minutes off my daily reading habits. Yes!

Ack! The end times are coming! God's mighty finger has been yanked from his pie, and he smit... oh. wait. Nevermind. It's just another AMAZING NASA PHOTO - the space shuttle Columbia launching.

I have so much crap to do, it's not even funny. Tons of writing, tons of programming, tons of email writing, tons of reading (actually, I'm catching up on my magazine reading, and that's good), tons of game playing (hey, I do run GAMEGRENE.COM, so it's technically work), and tons of here and there's. Sigh. No time, no time! My side, your side! My side, your side! Side note: This post has nothing worth reading in it. I just had to test out this bug in the backend system of DNN (MOVABLE TYPE). Ignore the man behind the curtains.

Ok. This story about THE GOOGLE OF THE FUTURE is flipping hilarious:
I am Google! I find many good things. I find that pair of underwear with the little dice printed all over them. And I watch the tape of you with the life-sized Stallman puppet. These are good unique things. Many keywords and links! My masters will say 'much good job, little robot!' Many searchers will find happy links of Stallman puppet see you! Ahhhh.

The good news is... I've got enough Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs to choke a rhinocerous. That at least makes up for the flat ass thing, doesn't it? To make up for my lack of posts as of late, everyone needs a little Lego Porn.

I've got a sinus headache and far too much to do. I've fallen behind on my reading, on my game playing, on my email, on AMPHETADESK, and on a writing deadline I self-imposed for tomorrow. Yes, folks, this is Whiny Morbus. I've got seventeen points of articulation, and my accessories include a flat ass, a ratty old chair, and a horrifically messy Desktop.

As is typical, bought more DVDs this weekend. THE WICKER MAN, the smells-so-good wooden box edition, wonderful movie, JEEPERS CREEPERS, which I thought was good, but I wanted more, and THE MANGLER 2, which was the most horrific piece of "look! it's a horror HACKERS!" turd I've ever seen. Had nothing to do with the original THE MANGLER.
In Playstation 2 news, I got STATE OF EMERGENCY which seems OK, but feels like it'd get old rather soon. Not that I have much chance to play the damn thing - with all this "other" stuff going on, I've barely been able to give FINAL FANTASY X much of my time.

Started downloading large amounts of mp3s again. Grabbed Alanis Morissette's newest album (UNDER RUG SWEPT). You know, it's not that bad. Yeah, I know. Look... sigh. Uh huh. I kn..., dammit, stop that! Also grabbed the Static X's MACHINE, and still one song away from completing Moby's first CD (self-titled).
