Ghyll:Shepenor

In -446 EC, elders from the neighboring fishing villages of Shepenor and Thunderbarg met to discuss the taste of fish harvested from the Qestarius River. After thirty minutes of deliberation, along with taste tests from dishes prepared by their finest cooks, both villages agreed that not only was the river changing, but also the river's inhabitants. Although the village of Shepenor didn't much like the increased traffic and competiton, both villages agreed that it'd be in Thungerbarg's best interest to harvest fish only from the Marty sea.
Kebro-shepenor is located within sight of the fishing village of Shepenor, but is rather too far out to swim. At low tide, the island is connected to the mainland by a sandbar, but it is too long to walk during the short time that it is exposed.
You are encouraged to drop by Shepenor on your next vacation, and pick up a few of the gruesome clubs and axes of the bloodthirsty Kev warriors.
The history of the Rod of Quiends is somewhat obscure. It was discovered near the village of Shepenor sometime around -800 EC, where it was briefly used as the scepter of a local Hive-Lord.
Nor can it be because of the village of Quiends near Shepenor (where the Rod was discovered), as that village did not even get the name "Quiends" until at least 60 years after the Rod had been found and named (in fact, the name of the village appears to derive from the name of the Rod, not the other way around).
