The term phaelros is generally supposed to be derived from the Modern Standard Ghyllian word phael, meaning 'real', and the Dulalian word ros, meaning 'bull'. Since a phaelros is not a bull, real or otherwise, this chiefly demonstrates that the understanding of etymology in Ghyll is in its infancy.
