Had to adjust Mononoke's death from -115 EC to -110 EC.  He researched with the Kites for approximately 20 years.  If they were built around -131 EC, he'd need to work until around -111 EC for that to be true.  --Brother Arfrus 13:41, 8 Aug 2005 (EDT)

Brother - there's a rules violation here. You use scuttleway as an official citation, but you actually created that one, so it's invalid. You'll need to choose another existing phantom! --Morbus Iff 09:14, 8 Aug 2005 (EDT)

:Sorry about that.  I thought the rule was just that couldn't write the entry for a phantom I had created.  I've added a few words to fix this.  --Brother Arfrus 09:42, 8 Aug 2005 (EDT)

::No worries. See Rule 3: Scholars shall neither cite themselves, nor write phantoms they were the first to cite. --Morbus Iff 09:45, 8 Aug 2005 (EDT)

:::Now that I think about it, it's clear.  I think I assumed "cite themselves" refered to things that had already been written (though we all cite older articles, no matter who wrote them).  Fortunately, it was easy to fix.  --Brother Arfrus 09:49, 8 Aug 2005 (EDT)

Very nice! It is such a cool thing to invent a word or phrase, give it a tidbit of context and then watch somebody else just make it bloom. I had no idea what this thing named the Kites d'Jeaux were when I wrote the words down, I simply liked the sound of the words. Well, now I know! --Nikos of Ant 16:50, 6 Aug 2005 (EDT)

And this was just one of the ideas I kicked around. I also was considering making them some kind of giant air leviathans, sky whales, as well. Sometimes an entry suggests what it is, sometimes it's completely open. --Brother Arfrus 08:31, 7 Aug 2005 (EDT)
