What follows is a Marvel Comics trade reading order based on the original publication date of the earliest issue, not a "suggested reading order" sourced on an in-world timeline. I tend to believe that the revealing of a story's nuances, secrets, and twists "as it was in real-time" is greater than the thrill of reading things from Year 1 to Year 2099, and maintains a storytelling flow that can become too dissonant when you read a book written in 1961 followed in-timeline by one from 2008.
