I don't like the fact that you're making this unsigned "on purpose". Signing the article, just like the Category and Citations footers, has absolutely nothing to do with in-game actions: they're stylistic out-of-game things. What, am I to next assume that someone can decide that having no category, or not having the proper citations (or citing incorrectly), is an "in-game deliberation" too, now? --[[User:Morbus Iff|Morbus Iff]] 09:52, 31 Jul 2005 (EDT) | I don't like the fact that you're making this unsigned "on purpose". + | :We definitely need to discuss this, but I'm just too zombicated to do it right now. But I do think that the signature and the citations are part of the game (i.e. the real scholars who contribute to the real Ghyll Encyclopedia really do sign their articles and cite other articles), even though the ''format'' of the signature and citation is prescribed by game-level rules. In this case, the ''character'' John Cowan has a good reason not to sign the article, even though the ''player'' John Cowan doesn't. I admit this is creative rule-bending, but a lot of my articles have been slightly off in one way or another. --[[User:Jcowan|John Cowan]] 22:21, 31 Jul 2005 (EDT) | ||

--Morbus Iff 09:52, 31 Jul 2005 (EDT)
- We definitely need to discuss this, but I'm just too zombicated to do it right now. But I do think that the signature and the citations are part of the game (i.e. the real scholars who contribute to the real Ghyll Encyclopedia really do sign their articles and cite other articles), even though the format of the signature and citation is prescribed by game-level rules. In this case, the character John Cowan has a good reason not to sign the article, even though the player John Cowan doesn't. I admit this is creative rule-bending, but a lot of my articles have been slightly off in one way or another. --John Cowan 22:21, 31 Jul 2005 (EDT)
