What follows is a Marvel Comics trade paperback reading order based on the collected work's original publication date, not a "suggested reading order" sourced on an in-world timeline. I tend to believe that the revealing of a story's nuances, secrets, and twists "as the need arises" is greater than the thrill of reading things from Year 1 to Year 2099, and maintains a storytelling style that can become chaotic when you read a book written in 1961 followed in-timeline by one from 2008. There are plenty of great world timeline reading orders already - this approach is just my particular preference. (Note that this list will likely become irrelevant once With Great Power finishes theirs.)
