About the Museum
Welcome to the Pathfinder Museum. This museum originally went on line in early 2000, but after service interruptions, its resources have long lay dormant on various CD-ROMs and Zip drives. Now, however, because historians have expressed renewed interest in the rise and fall of "The World's Greatest Web Site," the Museum is back on line. We are also lucky to have been bequeathed a scrap book of many images from Pathfinder.com's heyday that was saved from the dumpster during the site's last days. The Museum has three different kinds of exhibits: Pathfinder Documents (preserved documents from the site's heyday), Pathfinder Images (snapshots and other images that record the activities of its staff), and Pathfinder Memories (written accounts of life and work at The World's Greatest Web site). I plan on updating the Museum from time to time with new exhibits; if you have any questions about the Museums or would like to contribute material, please send e-mail.
Thanks,
Steve Baldwin
Curator, The Pathfinder Museum.
