The New York Times has decided to close "The Walk Through," a real estate-oriented blog located at http://walkthrough.nytimes.com/

The Times has been making a number of strategic moves in the last few days, among the most significant being the dumping of its broadcast holdings. These moves are widely read as positive indicators for the future of the NYT, which, along with the Washington Post, has much more aggressively pursued interactive opportunies.
