Ancient Web Banner Ads From the 20th Century

Early banner ads came along too early to be saved by such modern-day Web wonders as the Wayback Machine, leaving historians to wonder what these early promotional banners looked like.

Here are a few 468 x 60 rarities I dug up from an old CD-ROM containing archival banner ads saved from Pathfinder's servers. These ghostly images date from 1995 and 1996; the first two ads are first-generation GIF89A animations; the last is a simple static GIF.
